The last episode focused on how it is possible to convert a minor pentatonic scale into a dorian scale. This is a very useful technique as the minor pentatonic scale is often one of the scales many players learn quite early on. By adapting it in this way the facility and technique already known can also be used with the dorian scale to create new sounds.

This episode looks at a solo based around two different dorian scales, D dorian and F dorian showing effective ways to straddle two keys.
